You do not need to use the Browser to view or copy the Wraptures. Just double-click on a Wrapture file and it will open. The PICT files open using TeachText and the QuickTime files open using MoviePlayer. Both the TeachText and MoviePlayer programs are provided on the disc in the “Utilities and Information” folder. Since the Wraptures are in PICT format, you can use almost any Macintosh graphics program to open or import them.
Naming Convention of the Wrapture files:
The texture category folders on the root level of the Wraptures One CD-ROM contain the Wraptures for that category. For each Wrapture there is a folder that contains all the PICT or QuickTime files for that Wrapture. The files are named to show the different bit depths and sizes for that Wrapture. The following is the naming convention:
TheWraptureName•BitDepth or DataType•Dimensions
The key aspects of the Wrapture file are separated by the bullet (•) symbol. For example, the file: 'Paper-Crinkle 1.0•32•512x512' indicates that the texture is Paper-Crinkle 1.0 in 32 bits deep at 512 by 512 pixels in size. For a complete description of the different sizes and bit-depths, see the document “Wraptures Manual” located in the “Utilities and Information” folder
